Oak Creek's Rules & Regulations
SPEED LIMIT: THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE PARK IS 5 M.P.H. PLEASE ABIDE BY THIS RULE.
QUIET HOURS: Please be considerate of others - our Quiet Hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
VISITORS: Each guest must be registered upon arrival and pay the guest fee before going to the site. Please see that each one has stopped at the office, taken care of his fee and obtained a car pass upon arrival. Please make sure that your guests are aware of the visitors fee. All day visitors must leave by 10:45 PM.
CHILDREN: Parents and/or Guardians are responsible for the actions, whereabouts and safety of their children and guests at all times. Parents are financially responsible for any damage incurred by their children and guests. Your children and guests should be back to your campsite by 11:00 PM. Children under 21 are not permitted on the campground without being accompanied by a parent. OUR QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 11:00 PM TO 8:00 AM. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILDREN AND OVERNIGHT GUESTS ARE BACK ON YOUR SITE DURING THIS TIME.
PETS: NO MORE THEN TWO PETS PER SITE. Pets are permitted provided they are kept on a short leash at all times unless tied on a strong durable chain or rope that will not allow the pet to extend off the site in any direction. Your pets are NOT permitted in the Store, Rec Hall, Playgrounds, the Pool Area or Bathhouses. Pets are not permitted in rental units or on rental unit sites. Your pet is your responsibility. SCOOP, SCOOP, SCOOP is the rule … ALWAYS clean up after your pet. All pets should have proper papers for vaccinations to be presented to the camp owners at any time upon request. Please respect others by keeping your pet controlled and quiet on your campsite. If your pet cannot be quiet in your absence, it may accompany you. Pets should never be left unattended. Please be advised that complaints from other campers regarding excessive noise from your pet/s will result in our requesting you leave your pets at home. Visitors of guests are not permitted to bring pets into the park.
TELEPHONE MESSAGES: Will be posted on the message board. Only emergency messages will be delivered. The 1-800# is for reservations only. Please see that your family and friends understand.
BATHHOUSES: NO SMOKING OR LOITERING in or around the bathhouses. THE BATHHOUSES ARE NOT TO BE USED AS A HANGOUT. Shoes should be worn in the bathhouses. PLEASE HELP KEEP OUR BATHROOMS CLEAN. No dishwashing allowed. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Also we must ask that you not flush any sanitary napkins or tampons, paper towel or toilet tissue other than 1-ply tissue into our sewer system.
POOL: The Pool area is for swimming and sunbathing only. Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult when a pool monitor/lifeguard is on duty. When a pool monitor/lifeguard is not on duty children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. No socializing with the pool monitor/lifeguard. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed at the pool area. No pets are allowed in the Pool area.
GAME ROOM: Closes at 10:30 PM during the weekends in season. (Please note: this time may change during certain months of the year.)
ROADS: With respect to your fellow campers, please use roads and paths. Please do not drive through unoccupied sites.
CARS/LICENSED DRIVERS: Only 2(two) cars are permitted per campsite. All cars must display a car pass. ONLY THOSE PERSONS WITH A CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE MAY BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE IN PARK. No car washing. Please park all extra cars in the parking area near the Rec. Hall.
BICYCLES: The riding of bicycles is at your own risk at all times. Pennsylvania helmet laws are in effect. Please ride on the roads only. ABSOLUTELY NO RIDING AFTER DARK, RIDING THROUGH ANYONE ELSE’S SITE OR RIDING ON ANY OF THE HILLS IN THE PARK. NO BIKES ALLOWED ON THE STORE PORCH, SIDEWALKS OR GAME ROOM. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY BIKE RIDING OR STUNT BIKE TRICKS TO BE PERFORMED ON THE HILLS SURROUNDING THE CAMP STORE/OFFICE OR OVER THE SPEED BUMP AT THE PARK ENTRANCE.
MOTORCYCLES: May be ridden to and from your campsite - Mopeds, mini-bikes, dirt bikes and golf carts are NOT permitted in the campground. Absolutely NO GAS POWERED mopeds, mini-bikes, dirt bikes or scooters allowed in Park.
NO ROLLERBLADES, SKATEBOARDS OR ELECTRIC SCOOTERS ALLOWED IN PARK.
FIRES: May be built in fireplaces and fire rings. Campfires must be kept small and attended to at all times, please keep water by your fire and keep all debris away from your fire. NO BURNING OF TRASH AT ANY TIME. NO COVERS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED OVER YOUR FIREPLACE. ALL FIRES MUST BE EXTINGUISHED BEFORE RETIRING.
MUSICAL EQUIPMENT: NO LOUD MUSIC. It should be played for your enjoyment only and kept to your site only.
TENTS: One tent per campsite is permitted for your children. It may be no larger than a two man pup/dome tent.
FIREWORKS: FIRECRACKERS, FIREARMS, B.B. GUNS, PAINT GUNS, AND SLING SHOTS ARE PROHIBITED.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Must be kept at your campsite. We will not tolerate loud parties and unreasonable behavior.
PERSONAL CONDUCT: Vandalism or rowdy behavior will not be tolerated. No profanity or intoxication. Please remind your children to respect other campers privacy - they are not allowed to run through other campers sites at any time.
GAS CHAINSAWS: Are Not Permitted in Park.
TREES: And foliage must not be cut or otherwise harmed. No nails, screws, etc. Should be put into trees. Clothes lines tightly tied around trees could kill the trees.
REFRIGERATORS: No outside refrigerators or ranges are permitted.
PATIO LIGHTS: Are limited to 2 (two) sets per site. Please turn off your lights before retiring. Lights should be mounted so that they do not present a hazard to anyone. No flashing lights are permitted.
HONEY WAGON: Please register for the honey wagon service no later than 3 PM on Sunday (sign up list is at the office). PLEASE DO NOT DISPOSE OF ANY SANITARY NAPKINS OR TAMPONS, PAPER TOWELS, HANDIWIPES, OR ANY TOILET TISSUE OTHER THAN 1-PLY TOILET TISSUE INTO YOUR SYSTEMS OR OUR SEPTIC SYSTEMS.
PROPERTY: Property damage, theft and vandalism will NOT be tolerated.
TRASH: All trash is to be placed in dumpsters except for aluminum cans (mandatory recycling) of which there are containers next to the dumpsters. Trash such as grills, rugs, awnings, lawn chairs, etc. must be removed from the park by you. Please do not leave your trash sitting out overnight as it will attract wild animals into the park.
Seasonal Campsite Rules & Regulations
CAMPSITE RENTAL: Only one camping unit and family per site. We have rented the campsite to you - not your relatives, friends and fellow workers. We limit the number of people on your contract to the immediate family members (2 Adults/2 Children under 18).
NO renting or leasing your unit.
PLEASE NOTE: No one under the age of 21 is allowed in the park or trailers without their parents.
NEW & USED TRAILER PURCHASES MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT. Trailers must be newer than 10 years old, and the overall length must not exceed 38 feet. Please supply us with the make and model number of your unit.
Hard Top Awnings & Screen Rooms available thru Oak Creek Only. MUST order thru Oak Creek - NO OUTSIDE VENDORS.
TRAILER KEY: We require that all campers leave a key to their trailer. We keep all keys in a locked boss and require a written signature to take the keys out of the office and we sign them back in. This is a mandatory requirement.
PROOF OF INSURANCE: We require proof of insurance for your trailer plus liability Insurance. Furnish a copy of the Declaration Page at the time you bring your contract in to us for the year (October 1st of the current year).
TITLE OR REGISTRATION OF TRAILER: All campers must supply us with proof of ownership of trailer either a title or registration.
DECKS, SHEDS, STRUCTURES, ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS: Any building of decks must be constructed of pressure treated material and must be off the ground by a minimum of eight inches. Any additions or deletions from the campsite must be cleared by management. Sheds may be no larger then 6 x 8 feet. Building structures of any type must be pre-approved by management. No enclosures are to be attached to trailers. This includes the walling in and roofing of decks. No Metal, Fiberglass or otherwise. THIS IS A TOWNSHIP REGULATION.
PROPANE AND WATER: For safety reasons, it is required that you turn off your propane and water before leaving the park at any time and especially when leaving to go home. When requesting a 100# refill, all obstructions must be removed for our easy access. Please Note: All propane tanks must be kept unconcealed - please do not keep any tanks in your sheds.
REFUNDS: Your site is rented on a yearly basis. In the event you decide to leave, there will be no refund given after June 1st. Vacating your site all equipment on that site must be removed, failure to do so will result in your being charged for any expenses incurred for removal and clean up.
PAYMENTS: A record of continuous late payments will result in removal of your unit from site and thus forfeiting your site. All site payments, electric bills and all other payments due must be paid in full each year. Failure to do so will forfeit your contract for the following year. A $10.00 fee will be added to any late payments.
VACATED SITES: Office must be notified before any unit is taken off site. We reserve the right to re-rent any campsite that has been vacated more then two week without prior notice.
PROBATION: All Yearly campers will be on probation for the first year. A $100.00 security deposit is required from all new yearly campers.
MAINTENANCE: ALL SITES MUST BE CLEANED FOR WINTER BY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. Please keep your site clean and neat. Keep campsite cleared of trash. No bringing trash from home. Excessive piles of pallets, lumber, etc. tend to detract from the overall appearance of the campground. Please keep your trailer and site properly maintained. One attempt will be made in writing, if needed, to remind you to clean up your site. If this attempt fails, we will then have no alternative by to ask you to leave. We enjoy all of you, but a clean site is a must! You are a major part of this campground and it makes negative impressions on others if you do not abide by this rule.
WOOD: No more then 1/3 (one-third) cord of wood is allowed on a site. No scrap lumber (pallets, etc.) is allowed. All wood should be neatly stacked and confined to your site only.
PICNIC TABLES: Please do not staple or nail permanent coverings to tables as it will damage the wood. Tables should not be altered in any way.
ELECTRIC PAYMENTS: During our in season months, April to October, we will read your electric meters every two months. And have the amount available on the computer at the office. You must come into the office to pay your electric bill. Normally we will read the meters at the end of the month. During the off season, November to March, we will read the meters twice, once in December and again in March. These bills, if over $5.00 for that time frame will be billed to you at home. A 2% late fee will be done monthly on any electric payment not received on time.
STONE PURCHASES: All stone is to be purchased through Oak Creek Campground office. No Private Purchases will be allowed.
PROPANE 100# TANKS: All tanks to be purchased through Oak Creek Campground, no other tanks allowed on premises.
RV TRAILER SALES: All Sales through Oak Creek Campground are at a 5% commission of Sale Price. Copy of documents needed. New owners can stay on site, if approved, and will be on probation for 1st year. Any private trailer sales will NOT guarantee the new owner the site. Trailer must be removed.
Cancellation Policy
Sites: Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival receive a refund of the initial deposit less a $15.00 handling fee per reservation. All refunds are issued in the same manner in which payment was received. All cancellations received between 10 and 30 days prior to arrival will be issued a rain check less a $15.00 handling fee per reservation. A rain check includes the initial deposit being applied to your account for future use and expires one year from the date of issuance. Any cancellation received less than 10 days prior to arrival will NOT receive a refund or rain check, and is not transferable. No refunds for early departure or inclement weather. You are responsible to pay for the days in which you booked upon arrival. There will be no exceptions.
Cabins and Cottages: Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival receive a refund of the initial deposit less a $25.00 handling fee per reservation. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival require re-rental of the unit. Refunds issued after re-rental of the unit are also subject to a $25.00 handling fee per reservation. No refunds for early departure or inclement weather. You are responsible to pay for the days in which you booked upon arrival. There will be no exceptions.
